This project presents a strategic communication plan developed for Open Arms Pound Rescue, a volunteer-driven organization that transports shelter dogs from U.S. pounds to approved rescues in Canada and the U.S. The campaign focuses on recruiting volunteer drivers, raising public awareness, and highlighting the life-saving impact of the organization’s work.
The plan combines social media outreach, partner collaborations, email campaigns, and on-ground sign-up events with clear messaging tailored to retirees, families, young volunteers, and businesses. Through storytelling, video testimonials, and thematic campaigns, the project aims to increase volunteer sign-ups, amplify the organization’s reach, and strengthen community engagement across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
